Hello,
I’m writing on behalf of the North Somerset Learning Disability Partnership Board to invite you—or a member of your team—to join us at our upcoming meeting on Thursday, 27th November, at The Campus, Highlands Lane, Weston-super-Mare, BS24 7DX, from 11:00am to 1:00pm.
We’ve attached the Board’s Terms of Reference to give you a sense of how our meetings are structured and the collaborative nature of our discussions.
This particular meeting will focus on housing for people with learning disabilities, and we would greatly value your insights and expertise. We’re especially keen to explore topics such as:
· Supported housing and supported living
The Housing Jigsaw system
Access to social housing
Reasonable adjustments in housing
Preventing and addressing homelessness
We warmly invite you to contribute to a conversation around:
· What housing options are currently available in North Somerset
The challenges and opportunities in housing for people with learning disabilities
What good housing looks like
How services, organisations, and communities can work together to support and empower individuals with lived experience
Your input would be incredibly valuable in helping us shape better housing outcomes for our community.
