About us:
We are Aid Box Community (ABC), a charity providing support, supplies and sanctuary to refugees and asylum seekers living in Bristol. We do this by offering living essentials as well as welfare support at our Hub and Free Shop in St Andrews; through our sports and activity groups; and through our Connections befriending program.
The event:
The Great Bristol Run is one of our most successful annual fundraisers. Last year, our runners helped us raise a whopping £6,121! Aid Box Community is offering free charity entries for the Great Bristol Run when runners raise sponsorship for our cause. Kickstart 2026 by setting yourself a challenge whilst making a real difference. Whether you’re a seasoned runner or just starting out, the Great Bristol Run has something for everyone.
We are offering FREE charity entries for:
– Mini and junior runs (9th May)
– 10k and Half Marathon (10th May)
By becoming one of our sponsored runners, you would be helping us continue to support the many displaced people who have come to Bristol seeking safety and a welcoming place where they can settle and move on with their lives.

We do ask a small commitment fee of £15 (no fee for the mini and junior runs). OR buy your own entry with no fee.
We have a WhatsApp group to connect our runners and offer training and fundraising support for participants.
