A gathering of practitioners and allies, reflecting on work in or for statutory health or social care, and those receiving these services.
If you’re a nature-based practitioner working in statutory health or social care, someone in receipt of these services who values nature, or wanting to find out more about nature-based practice then you’re warmly invited to join us in the woods.
As autumn and harvest time approach, you are warmly invited to join us by the fireside for an evening of nature connection, reflection, and a ‘harvesting’ and sharing of anything you’ve learned over the past year that informs your current practice.
Before we meet, we welcome you to think about anything that’s been significant for your practice and which you’d be willing to share in the form of a brief fireside story.
Please gather in the parking area ready to start at 4:00pm, with a walk into the woods together. Please bring your own water/flask and a torch.
The walk and site are on uneven ground and may be challenging to access. If you have any mobility or other access needs, please feel free to contact us ahead of the event. We are keen to work with you to make bespoke arrangements for your needs, wherever possible.
A snack will be provided. Please being your own portable cup and something to drink. Remember to bring clothing to keep warm and dry. We may be inviting you to spend some time amongst the trees. So, you may want to bring something to sit on too. There is shelter if needed.
