FreeA networking and taster opportunity to connect health services and nature based social prescribing in the Somer Valley and build strong referral networks. The morning will consist of talks and opportunities to experience a range of activities on offer.
The event will consist of an introduction to the Somer Valley Rediscovered & other partner organisations, the opportunity to meet activity providers, a roundtable discussion and the chance to join a free wellbeing taster sessions.
Schedule:
9:15 – Refreshments and an opportunity to speak with stall holders
9:30 – Presentations and Case Studies
10:30 – Introduce nature-based providers, signing up for a taster and an opportunity for networking
11:30 – Taster Session 1, 30 minutes
12:15 – Taster Session 2, 30 minutes
12:45 – Wrap up talk and opportunity for final notes
Green social prescribing is the practice of supporting people to engage in nature-based interventions and activities to improve their mental and physical health.
This networking event is open to all 3 Valley PCN staff, local social prescribing providers and healthcare workers with an interest in learning more about green social prescribing in the Somer Valley and Bath and North East Somerset.
