Community Submission of Events

Our website gives our community users an opportunity to suggest their own events to be listed in our calendar. We’ve included below some pointers as to how best to suggest events to give them the best opportunity of being published.

The information you’ll need includes:

  • Event Title
  • Event Description
  • Start date and time
  • End date and time
  • Event image – JPG, PNG ideally up to around 2,000 pixels, and in landscape format.
  • Venue Details – there is a drop down list to select from, or you can suggest a new one
  • Organiser Details – there is a drop down list to select from, or you can add yourself as a new organiser
  • Event website or booking link
  • Event cost

Recurring Events

If you have multiple events that happen on the same day, at the same time and involves the same activity (but happen on different dates), please use the ‘Schedule multiple events’ option. The same event details, title and photo will be used for all occurrences of your event.

If you have multiple events that happen on the same day, at the same time but involves a different activity each time, please submit each event separately. Just do by adding your event, then refreshing the page to start again.
