Roots aims to support individuals to build a new relationship with nature to improve their mental and physical wellbeing, whilst building supportive local social connections. The 18-week programme is delivered in parks and people can start at any point. Participants take part in nature-connection activities such as mindfulness, sensory activities, natural craft activities and practical park work. Sessions include a healthy, free shared lunch and we can offer help with transport if needed. Eastville Park on Wednesdays 1-3.30pm. Hillfields Community Garden on Fridays 10.30am-1pm.
