Description:
We currently have spaces in the Hawthorn Project – this is a nature based woodland wellbeing group for self identifying women who are 18+. The group is for any women who struggle with their mental health including people in recovery from drug and alcohol use. The group runs term time only on a Wednesday from 11-2.30pm. There is a free minibus that leaves central Bristol at 10.30 am and returns at 3pm.
Participants tell us the groups helps them to feel connected to other people and enjoy the benefits of time in nature. We cook a delicious meal around the fire, use nature based mindfulness, go for walks and learn new skills taught by our very own Bush Craft Lead.
